Collaboration is Integrated

Film & TV is the premiere collaborative artform today. We believe the very best results happen when collaboration is fostered among as many of the crafts and technicians as possible. In production, we all have diverse expertise which gives each department its own perspective. When the departments can work together toward a director's shared vision, that creates a special thing that cannot be recreated in a different time or place. That is movie magic.

Our deeply rooted philosophy of fostering integrated, collaborative crafts working together toward a common goal has driven us to create the Starboard System. It itself is an integrated, interdisciplinary system that strives to work for all departments and bring them together.

Because our guiding principle is rooted in integration and interdependence, we commit to integrating with any other production-oriented software platforms that will integrate with us. While a system like this could easily try and capitalize on monopolistic principles, we believe we are all more successful and create a better, more desirable product when we work together.
